Bi-coastal songwriting team, Connors & Schettino’s diverse new CD of “Alternative Americana” and roots rock features 16 truly inspired performances by The Banderos, a band of San Diego’s finest musicians including world-renown bluegrass multi-instrumentalist Dennis Caplinger, former Captain Beefheart guitarist Dean K. Smith, the late great Mike Peters on keyboards (to whom this CD is dedicated), the legendary Bob “The Doc” Siggins on pedal steel guitar, percussion maestro Paul “Loco” horn on drums, multi-instrumentalist Nick Perpich on bass, Arron Valencia on saxophone, and Mo Grundy and Jim Carbaugh on Harmonica.  Jim and I are honored to have these guys play our music and really proud of the sound that we’ve produced!
